As many of you already know, the last five blocks of IPv4 addresses were handed out back in February, and there are now no more large blocks of addresses to be handed out to the regional registries. This doesn’t mean that the Internet is out of IPv4 addresses, though; that’ll happen at different times in different parts of the world, with North America holding out the longest, probably sometime in 2012.
